The Czech Republic is a small country in the heart of Europe, but our technologies and inventions are used all over the world. We have every reason to be proud. However, few people around the world know this. That is why the Czech Strategic Technologies (CST) catalog was created—to comprehensively present new Czech technologies, unique know-how, and the history of Czech inventions.
This unique CST catalogue of leading Czech strategic technologies is produced under the auspices and with the support of key institutions, including the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, the Czech Chamber of Commerce, the Czech Agency for Standardization (ČAS), the Association of Manufacturers and Suppliers of Medical Devices (AVDZP), the Czech Health Technology Institute (CHTI), and the Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic (AOBP).
The first edition of the CST catalogue was published in May 2022 and successfully introduced some of the finest Czech technologies and companies to the international audience.
An integral part of the CST project is a growing networking platform that connects companies and institutions with concrete international opportunities through targeted missions and projects.
The CST catalogue is distributed through Czech embassies abroad, foreign embassies in the Czech Republic, official government missions overseas, foreign missions in the Czech Republic, as well as at international congresses, conferences, festivals, and trade fairs both in the Czech Republic and worldwide.
We are proud partners of several international initiatives and events, including the Global Healthcare Initiative for Ukraine (GHI), the Festival of Embassies, and others. In cooperation with the Václav Havel Library, we have also initiated and co-organized events marking the 45th anniversary of the Lennon Wall in Prague.
Our media partners include ČTK Connect (Czech News Agency), Seznam.cz, Publi.cz, The Arab Hospital Magazine, Prague Daily News, Tschechien News, and Development News DE FA.

He is dedicated to international multicultural collaborations. He creates logos, design, art projects, and he is also a painter. He came up with the idea to create a catalogue of Czech Strategic Technologies, and he implemented it with his agency Plechárna Design Factory.
This multidisciplinary catalogue was created to support and promote Czech ideas, inventions and technologies in the world. He is the author of the OF – Občanské fórum (Civic Forum) logo, which became a symbol of the Velvet Revolution in 1989. He is the creator of many other logos: Czech Chamber of Commerce, Seznam, Datart, Banánové rybičky, SAWER, the logo of the Czech pavilion at the Expo in Dubai, among others. His works have been exhibited in many museums and galleries around the world, including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York. He is very involved with the theme of freedom in his cultural projects. To mark the 30th anniversary of the Czech Republic’s freedom in 2019, he created a new face for the Lennon Wall in Prague. In one day, 30 artists from 10 countries worked together to create a work on the theme of freedom and love. The painting was created as part of his international project Meet Art – a joint collaboration of artists from several countries on a single work of art.
At the beginning of the first wave of Covid, he put a large facemask on John Lennon’s portrait, attracting media attention and becoming the largest and most famous Czech facemask in the world. It was also the inspiration for his international touring exhibition Helpful Art in Covid, which maps over 2,000 works of art from 90 countries. This cultural project represents a new type of art in which artists from all over the world spontaneously created works with a unique theme and mission: to pay tribute to health workers and all those who helped during the pandemic. He is the founder and co-organiser of the first Czech Farmers‘ Market in Prague 6 and the Festival of Embassies Food & Culture, which has been attended by 55 countries from all over the world. He has been collecting forks, a symbol of gastronomy, and his collection now numbers several thousand pieces.
